Optima Consulting is actively helping finance professionals launch the second phase of their careers by creating remote work opportunities with the global institutions they have spent their careers working in. Our focus is on remote work engagements of varying duration.
You are
A Finance professional with minimum 20 years' experience who is looking to launch the second stage of their career working remotely either through choice or retrenchment. Typical roles are Project Management, Accounting, Risk Management, L1/L2 Production Support, Internal Audit, Business Management, Fund Management, Business Development. You'll have a stable home platform for remote work, spare room, dedicated computer. You are not a digital nomad, but a semi-retired professional.
The on-boarding process is straightforward and detailed below.
Step 1 - Register with Optima
To kickstart your career 2.0 with Optima, fill out the form below which contains some screening questions and a section for you to upload your latest resume and highlight the type and duration of work you would be like to be put forward for.
Step 2 - Personality evaluation
Spend 20 minutes sitting a personality evaluation from our strategic partner tendencies.com based on Myer's Brigg's. The Premium Report (RRP USD129) is free through a coupon code provided after Step 1.
Step 3 - Initial Consultation
In this evaluation we'll get to know each other and cover the following areas
Discuss your career goals and interests from step 1
Discuss the results of your personality evaluation from step 2
Identify your strengths, experience and transferable skills
Evaluate you and your location's suitability for remote work participation (video / audio / background / attire)
Feedback will be provided on the above
Step 4 - Onboarding
If you are a profile fit for Optima then we will onboard you as part of our resource pool
Profile creation - we will work with you to create a 1-page PDF summary which will be used with clients as we seek to place you
Billing setup - Optima does not hire full time staff, we require our contractors to invoice us from a registered company= / sole proprietorship. If you do not have this set-up we can put you in contact with one of our strategic partner accounting firms who can assist in this.
Step 5 - Start work
Now you're ready to begin work
When clients engage Optima on a delivery or support contract which is a match for your skills and experience, you'll be invited to one or more interviews with the client. If they select you, and the role meets your salary expectations, you'll begin work.
Our core team will join the first few calls to support you and you'll be paid when the client pays us, usually within 30 days after the contract month.
